Two program support opportunities
• Long term contracts, 12 months with the potential for extension
• Based in Vientiane, Laos
The Program
The goal of BEQUAL is to ensure all girls and boys, especially those experiencing disadvantage, complete a quality basic education to achieve literacy, numeracy and other life skills. The program will address education policy, planning and coordination, increased child participation in and access to basic education, teacher education and improved school infrastructure.
Coffey through BEQUAL is currently seeking applications for two key program support roles to join our team.
Finance & Administration Officer (Job reference 492684)
This position reports to the Operations Manager and supports a range of financial and administrative tasks which will contribute to effective program delivery. Responsibilities will include maintaining office records, storage systems and equipment; photocopying and taking telephone calls. The Officer will also undertake book keeping duties such as raising purchase orders and maintaining quality financial documentation.
We are seeking applicants with relevant qualifications who can demonstrate previous experience in general office administration and finance duties. Experience dealing with multiple clients and a strong service delivery approach; combined with good attention to detail will be required for success.
We are seeking applicants who enjoy working in a team environment, across a range of tasks and working with people from varying backgrounds.
Logistics Assistant (Job reference 492685)
The Logistics Assistant provides day to day logistical and administrative support to the BEQUAL office, including supporting office administrative tasks and driving duties including transporting personnel and documents, maintaining vehicle log books, registration and maintenance and coordinating the booking of vehicles.
We are seeking applicants who can demonstrate previous experience in a similar role as a driver and in logistics and administrative support, preferably for an international organisation or development program. The ability to undertake duties in a timely way and excellent customer service delivery and communication skills are required for success. Possession of a valid driver’s license and a good driving record is required. A good level of spoken English is required for the position.
